The
best thing that a person can do with there life is enjoy it! This
web site gets better and better each time we log on. The Gila has
been here longer than all of us and will remain when we are gone.
I'm glad we have such a web site from which to teach our children
how to enjoy, love, and respect our wild back country. Keep up the
outstanding work

I
have enjoyed riding, hunting, fishing and just relaxing in the Gila
for nearly 30 years now.
I have been fortunate to have met many locals through the years, one
of whom was a local legend.
I met Quentin Hulse in 1975 and was able to see both him and his mother
many times over the next 25 years or so.
I was richly blessed each time I was able to meet up with them, on
a game trail or at their home. They added personal color to the history
of the Gila and I mourned the recent passing of Quentin.
Don't ever pass up the opportunity to visit with the locals of the
Gila---- it will enrich your life!

I
am looking forward to visit the Gila Wilderness for my first time.
I would appreciate it if anyone could e-mail me maps of the trails.
I mostly would like to have maps of the 30 to 60 mile trails if anyone
has them. Thanks

I
grew up in the mimbres valley and the Gila was my backyard. Great
website. I'm leaving to Arizona this May to take a job with Arizona
Game and Fish Department as a Game Ranger, but I'll return to the
Gila Wilderness every chance I get!!
